Rafaela Borggrafe, goalkeeper - Liverpool FC
Rafaela Borggrafe joined Liverpool FC Women in the summer of 2025.
The German goalkeeper signed with the Reds after more than a decade at SC Freiburg, for whom she made a senior debut in the Frauen Bundesliga in 2021.
Her breakthrough for Freiburg came after spending 2020-21 on loan with FC Aarau, helping the Swiss side win the nation's second tier and claim promotion.
Borggrafe made more than 60 appearances for Freiburg following her return and 19 of those were starts during the 2024-25 Bundesliga campaign.
She has also represented her country at U19, U20 and U23 level, and was named as a standby for Germany for the 2025 Women's European Championship.
