Bafode Diakhaby is youth development phase coach (YDP) at the Liverpool FC Academy.

He arrived at the Reds' Kirkby youth base in 2026 after a distinguished spell with Paris Saint-Germain.

Diakhaby spent nearly a decade at PSG's academy, leading their U14, U15 and U16 squads.

He was also head of the youth development phase at the French club across the U13 to U15 age groups.

In his own playing career, the Frenchman joined PSG's academy as an U7 player and went on to represent the senior team.

Diakhaby had to retire from playing at the age of 26 because of an injury.
