Hugo Ekitike scored for France during Thursday’s round of international fixtures.

The Liverpool forward produced a clever dinked finish for his country as they overcame Brazil 2-1 in a friendly in the USA.

Ekitike completed 66 minutes of the match ahead of being substituted, while Reds teammate Ibrahima Konate was involved for the full game in Massachusetts.

In World Cup play-off action, Lewis Koumas was an unused substitute for Wales as they were beaten on penalties by Bosnia & Herzegovina following a 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere, Giorgi Mamardashvili was between the posts for Georgia in a 2-2 friendly draw against Israel.

And at U21 level, goalkeeper Armin Pecsi featured for Hungary in their 2-0 defeat by Croatia in a European Championship qualifier.

On Wednesday, meanwhile, Trey Nyoni started and Rio Ngumoha came off the bench in the second half as England U19s lost 2-0 to Serbia.
