NewsRio Ngumoha becomes England's third-youngest competitive debutant

The Liverpool forward – who made his first Three Lions appearance in a friendly during the summer – was brought on from the bench in the second half of a 2-0 UEFA Nations League win against Czechia.

Ngumoha’s competitive bow for his country came 31 days after his 18th birthday.

Only Wayne Rooney (17 years and 156 days) and Jude Bellingham (17 years and 269 days) have featured for England at a younger age, excluding friendlies.
