MatchThe opposition lowdown: Fulham
Get the lowdown on Fulham ahead of Liverpool's hosting of Marco Silva's team at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
Season so far
The Cottagers sit ninth in the table ahead of the weekend fixtures, with 44 points from their 31 games.
Silva has overseen 13 wins, five draws and 13 defeats this term.
Prior to the international break, Fulham came from a goal behind to beat Burnley 3-1 at home.
Key players
Former Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson is Fulham’s top scorer in the Premier League so far in 2025-26 with 10 goals, while Raul Jimenez is close behind on nine.
Wilson also leads the way for assists with six.
Joachim Andersen has played the fourth-most passes across the division this season (2,011) and ranks sixth for touches (2,430).
Previous meeting
A dramatic ending saw the points shared when the sides clashed at Craven Cottage in January.
Wilson’s first-half goal was equalised by Florian Wirtz just before the hour, and Cody Gakpo then put the visitors in front four minutes into added time.
But Harrison Reed’s long-range stunner levelled the game with 97 on the clock.
Team news
Calvin Bassey is available after recovering from a back injury that saw him withdraw from the Nigeria squad.
However, Reed, Kevin and Kenny Tete have been ruled out.
What they said
Silva, Fulham head coach
“The last results against them, the last performances, last games, they have been very, very good. Good performance, some good results from us, very, very competitive always home and away – and this is what we want to be again.
“We prepare ourselves for the best Liverpool possible. We want to be competitive like we did show last season, against them this season already [too]. Let’s hope we can repeat the same type of performance.”
Stats
- Fulham have won just two of their 32 previous away league games against Liverpool (eight draws, 22 defeats), winning 1-0 in both May 2012 and March 2021.
- Since the start of matchday 13 on November 29, only Bruno Fernandes (19) has had a hand in more Premier League goals than Wilson (14 – eight goals, six assists), with each of his last five goals putting the Cottagers in the lead.
- Antonee Robinson has more Premier League assists against the Reds than he does versus any other side, with all three coming at Anfield.
- After winning only two of their first eight top-flight games of 2026 (two draws, four losses), Silva’s men have won three of their last five (one draw, one loss).
