Mohamed Salah's curling effort against Galatasaray has won Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for March.

The Egyptian became the first African player to hit 50 strikes in the Champions League by bending in a beautiful effort from the edge of the box at Anfield.

It claimed the most votes in a poll of supporters on Liverpoolfc.com, just ahead of Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick in front of the Kop against Tottenham Hotspur.

Szoboszlai also claimed third place in the results for the well-worked opener in the first half of the 4-0 victory over Galatasaray.

An outside-of-the-boot hit from Salah versus Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ceri Holland's solo effort for Liverpool FC Women at Everton finished fourth and fifth respectively.
