Liverpool FC are proud to support the launch of Premier League 'With Pride', a new initiative that brings together the ongoing LGBT+ work the league and clubs carry out across the year to help deliver long-term change.

All Premier League matches between February 6 and February 12 will be dedicated to With Pride, aligning with LGBT+ History Month. This period provides an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the LGBT+ community in football, showcasing the work undertaken to make the game more inclusive.

The initiative was developed in consultation with LFC and other clubs, representatives from LGBT+ supporters groups and a wide range of stakeholders, with a focus on education, celebration and action.

New LGBT+ inclusion education resources are being launched this month for children and young people taking part in LFC Foundation community programmes – including Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Kicks and Premier League Inspires.

The resources are designed to develop practical skills and spark meaningful conversation on topics – including respectful language and how to support the LGBT+ community by being a good ally.

To mark LGBT+ History Month, the club is hosting a webinar for all employees to explore what allyship looks like in 2026 and why it is so important.

LFC continues to support LGBT+ initiatives in a variety of ways – from being the first club to participate in a Pride march back in 2012 to consistently donating a percentage of the profits from the Pride retail range to local LGBT+ charities, which will be supported once again this year.

LFC also continues to work closely with Kop Outs, the club's LGBT+ supporters group. Kop Outs are also being celebrated as part of the Premier League's With Pride launch, alongside other clubs' LGBT+ supporters groups, through a series of bespoke illustrations created by artist Ashton Attzs, with a presentation to follow later this month.

LFC Foundation are also hosting an LGBT+ community event for young people to attend and take part in various different sports and activities as part of LGBT+ History Month. At the Foundation's Liverpool FC Women community fixture this weekend, local LGBT+ charity Sahir House will also be in attendance to provide supporters with information on the services they provide.

Rishi Jain, director of impact at LFC, said: "We know that football has the power to bring people together, but that only happens when everyone feels seen, respected and safe to be themselves. Supporting the Premier League's With Pride initiative reinforces our long-standing commitment to inclusion and to ensuring everyone feels welcome at Liverpool FC."

As part of the new initiative, LFC and other Premier League clubs are collaborating with the national LGBT+ listening service Switchboard, which provides free and confidential support for the LGBT+ community.

Through the With Pride initiative, Liverpool's Academy players will also receive education on identity and inclusion. The club also continues to deliver equality, diversity and inclusion training for staff as part of its ongoing commitment to ED&I through its dedicated initiative, Red Together.

Through the Premier League, LFC colleagues can also access year-round LGBT+ training with dedicated sessions, workshops and resources designed to build understanding, confidence and inclusive practice for all.

Supporters are reminded that a new reporting tool was launched during the 2024-25 season, where fans can anonymously report concerns relating to incidents of discrimination. The service can be used by text or WhatsApp, and fans are able to report concerns, share images and share the location of the problem, allowing the stadium stewarding team to immediately respond if necessary.

To report a concern on a matchday, fans can scan the QR code around Anfield or text +447701 411048. Supporters' mobile numbers are encrypted by the system to ensure all messages are confidential and anonymous.
