Liverpool FC Women head coach Gareth Taylor has provided a comprehensive injury update on his squad ahead of this weekend's trip to face London City Lionesses.

Midfielder Marie Höbinger is set to be available for selection for the trip south having missed the Reds' last two fixtures.

Full-back Lily Woodham, however, has been ruled out through injury after departing last weekend's defeat by Manchester United due to a hamstring issue.

Taylor also provided the latest on the rest of his absentees ahead of Sunday's Barclays Women's Super League contest (11.55am BST kick-off).

"We have Marie Höbinger who has come back into contention for the game," he told his pre-match press conference at the AXA Melwood Training Centre on Friday.

"That's a positive. Lily sustained a bit of a hamstring issue in the United game and had to come off the pitch. We're not going to be able to see her this weekend unfortunately.

"Rachael Laws is coming back a little bit closer. Alejandra [Bernabe] is getting a little bit closer day by day as well - they're kind of the main ones.

"Obviously Zara Shaw is being monitored day by day, but is getting stronger with each isolated training she does. But outside of that I think everyone is in full training today, which is good news."
