Liverpool FC received multiple recognitions at the 2025 Northwest Football Awards for outstanding impacts on and off the pitch.

Men's team head coach Arne Slot was named Manager of the Season after an unforgettable debut year in 2024-25 that saw the Reds crowned Premier League champions with four games to spare.

"It's an honour to win this award, especially as I haven't been so long in the north west of England," said Slot.

"I know how much history this part of England has when it comes to great football clubs and great managers working for these clubs.

"So, to win an award like this is of course very special to me. But as I always say, it's definitely not only about me, it's about the whole coaching staff I work with, that have helped me to achieve what we achieved last season.

"And not only the coaching staff, everyone that contributed to us doing something special deserves a big thank you from me."

LFC Women's Ceri Holland was voted by fans as the PFA Barclays WSL & WSL2 Community Champion, recognising her unwavering commitment to supporting LFC Foundation initiatives.

Holland joined the launch of the new LFC Foundation Hub at St Helens Stadium, helping to shine a light on a space designed to create opportunities for people of all ages across the local community.

LFC Foundation itself earned the Premier League Community Club of the Season accolade.

Over the past season, the Reds' official charity successfully delivered 64 community projects and more than 11,000 sessions, supporting 145,000 people and generating £80.3 million in social value for the Liverpool City Region.

The Foundation's impact has also extended globally, with programmes spanning five countries and engaging nearly 20,000 international participants.

Paul Kelly, the lead/U21 physiotherapist at the LFC Academy, was presented with the Fabrice Muamba Award for Outstanding Services to Football Medicine and Performance.

Kelly has been with the Reds since 2016, after previous roles elsewhere in the north west with Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City.

This year's ceremony also carried special significance as the Women's Manager of the Season award was renamed in memory of Matt Beard, honouring his extraordinary contribution to women's football and his lasting legacy at Liverpool.

Matt's brother, Mark, presented the award to Marc Skinner of Manchester United.
