Giorgi Mamardashvili saved a penalty for Georgia as five Liverpool players featured in Monday’s international matches.

The goalkeeper got down to his right to repel an Isaac Price kick late on in his country’s UEFA Nations League tie with Northern Ireland.

That stop ensured Mamardashvili kept a clean sheet as the game in Belfast ended goalless.

On-loan Kieran Morrison was involved as a substitute for the hosts, introduced for the final quarter-hour.

Elsewhere in the competition, Dominik Szoboszlai captained Hungary to a 2-1 victory over Ukraine in Trnava.

Compatriot and Reds teammate Armin Pecsi remained on the bench.

Bradley Barcola was in the France starting XI in Paris and played for 72 minutes of their comeback 4-1 win against Belgium in the Nations League.

At U19 level, Prince Cisse was brought on early in the second half by Wales as they drew 0-0 with Northern Ireland in a friendly in Marbella.
