Anniversary respects paid to Diogo Jota and André Silva at Anfield
Respects were paid at Anfield on Friday to mark the first anniversary of the tragic loss of Diogo Jota and André Silva.
The Liverpool forward and his brother died in a road traffic accident that occurred in Spain on July 3, 2025.
A new, permanent memorial to Diogo and André was unveiled on 97 Avenue at Anfield on the eve of the year anniversary.
Club representatives, fans and visitors laid tributes beside the poignant sculpture and at the stadium in their honour.
